Swimglows is an exciting new initiative company founded by husband and wife duo David and Clare Fryett. Which develops unique and innovative swimming products.

We have specifically designed and developed our swimming products to encourage children of all ages to learn valuable swimming skills but most importantly to enjoy swimming and have fun at the same time. Our Gogglows, Coinglows and Gemglows are designed to help build confidence and bring excitement to the pool. This will grow with the swimmer’s advancement and ability with the vast variety of fun games which can be played by Toddlers to Teenagers.

Just like our Gogglows, Coinglows and Gemglows, our Swimdana also has a unique dual purpose. The Swimdana isn’t only a stylish adjustable swimming cap. The UV protective material protects your head from the harmful UV sunrays. The Swimdana is ideal for swimming lessons, as the comfortable fit is perfect for swimmers with long hair.

The Swimglows range was born from our family’s love of swimming. Our two teenage daughters Holly and Olivia are very keen club swimmers, training up to six times per week and participating in swimming galas most weekends. This has inspired us to develop unique swimming products. Clare is a Masters swimmer for the local swimming club and Dave holds the BSCA level A, B and C certificates in sub-aqua.

Both girls have now taken an interest in running as well as participating in aquathlons, representing our local district in The London Youth Games 2010 & 2011 and recently competing in the Clash of the Tritons event (250m swim + 2km run). Here are two photos taken at this fun event:

We have been involved in product development and applied for our 1st patent over 10 years ago. Since our first patent was granted, there has been no stopping the ideas. In 2000, we sold our first product directly to Grand Prix Legends. Then in 2005 we supplied 30,000 units of our invention exclusively to the high street chain Woolworths PLC.

Swimglows have also worked with well known global swimming brands including licensing the Gemglows and Coinglows to Maru Swimwear since 2008 and liaising with other leading brands such as, Speedo, TYR America and Zoggs.

From 2008 to 2011, the Gem and Coin Dive Lights were licensed and branded as Maru Flashing Gems Dive Game and Maru Flashing L.E.D Coins Dive Toys, which were sold all over Europe.

We no longer license our Gem and Coin Flashing Pool Toys to other brands, as we have decided to launch and create our own product range ”Swimglows”. Our Gems and Coins will now be known as Gemglows and Coinglows, Flashing L.E.D Dive Lights to join our other unique products – Gogglows, swimming goggles with built in lights and Swimdana, the designer but practical & comfortable UV protective swimming hat.

We are so committed and passionate about swimming we have created our own swimming forum www.SwimmingForum.co.uk The swimming forum has been designed for swimmers of all abilities, offering FREE advice, technique tips and to support swimmers progress and success. The forum is a lively community, which is fully mediated by swimming coaches and a registered swimming club welfare office. The forum provides a safe and fun environment to chat, make friends plus keep updated with all the latest swimming news. We have a special section called “Asked The Coach” that offers free professional advice.

David, Mike and Trevor recorded a podcast discussing different invention methodologies and formulas. During the visit, Trevor who swam for Great Britain in his youth was particularly impressed with the flashing Gogglows.
